aikido uniform

Was a blast had a lot of fun went out every night i think, discovered some good bars and a pole with my name on it, went to uptown, the moa, ikea (twice), and discovered a barnes and noble that sells used books thanks nik that was a fabulous discovery especially since they had the one obsure book i was intent on finding for $6. Pretty damn good deal :)

saw chaapos;s play which was hilarious the best part was just how he looked all that hair and make-up and padded belly... Heehee... "iapos;m sthmawt, i went to sthchooool." hahahahahaha

and of course saw the seeesters and had some shopping fun. I felt bad for dragging jane along to all the stores that might sell gold tights, but she was a trooper. I hope you had fun jane, cuz i sure did :D kate puts up with shopping far better although did you actually buy anything?

also got to go to the vikings game which was fun even though it was one of the most boring games ever. I enjoy football, i really do. But not when no one gets anywhere near the goal line... :p i donapos;t enjoy defensive games. Theyapos;re boring. Blah. But still, first pro football game iapos;ve ever been to and it wasnapos;t bad. Reeeeeally loud though. Holy cow. It was a weekend of loudness between all the bars and the metrodome. My poor ears.

oh, and i was decked out in this purple knit dress and gold tights lol totally looked out of place for sure, but i thought i was sporting the ugly cuteness well :) because, letapos;s face it, any outfit that consists of bright purple and nasty ass yellow gold colors canapos;t be cute, cute, so the best we can hope for is ugly cute, which i think it was. I wish i had a picture...

but weapos;re home, safe and sound. The kitties missed us and told us so by puking all over the house. Not cool. We have new drapes in the living room and a new duvet on the bed. I was very excited about this. I told doug about these ikea purchases when we got done shopping on saturday and he told me i was very married. :P i just enjoy having a house i get to decorate and a pretty bed to sleep in mah oh well. They make me happy.

all in all, well worth the drive to get home. Added bonus - we came home during the height of fall colors in wisconsin and MN so it was gorgeous driving most of the way home. Added non-bonus - hitting chicago rush hour at 6pm. Puke.
